Smoke, anniversary and war!

Good evening blog army.
Aint wrote for time.

Starting to make more work progression, but I'll leave that.
I've not smoked anything (excluding sharing a cigar) for quite a while now. And am starting to become really disappointed when my girlfriend smokes cigarettes. She's cut back but told me that she was having 1 a day and she's started smoking more. Not happy with that.
I don't like being the dickhead who judges others for smoking. But when it's someone I care for, I don't want to see her die of it.
I've obviously smoked before. A few years smoking copious amounts of weed. And although I understand addiction a bit, I was getting angry when I couldn't get any, but giving it up fully isn't that hard. Just to boast.

Had my first year anniversary last saturday. I am fairly strapped for cash. So I took her to london, tourist holiday. We live an hour away from the place but I had never seen big ben, westminster, the palace ect in person before. And she's never been to london town center before at all.
Being both nerds we went to the natural history and science museum. So nerdy in fact that she bounced with excitement when I told her where I was taking her.

Ended up spending more than expected as I forgot to bring picnic so I splashed out on a meal in a west end pub.
Moving on.

I've been reading my Gears of War book a lot recently. Combine that with completing Halo Reach and it's no surprise I'm craving being a soldier. But it would have to be with bad ass battle armour.
If I could take over this country I would defiantly concentrate on creating a massive army. Also get England it's own space program.
Random fact, one of england's most valuable exports is satellites. We rock at space tech, despite lacking having government funded space program.
I think we could solve 2 problems with 1 stone with my next idea. For the world reading this who don't know england, we've got far too many teenage mum's who have had babies because if you do the government gives you a council flat. This has to stop. I thing that the really bad mum's need there kids taken off them. I mean anyone who is too busy clubbing to raise their kid. The fully stupid human. I will explain this some other time. But we should offer them the free council flat in exchange for sterilisation. Stop un intelligent gene spreading.
We take the kids and raise them as soldiers. Create an elite army. Just one idea for the army.
Anyway I'm getting a headache. Laters.

Tipsy and comic relief

So I've had another pretty standard week of work. With another thursday and friday off so I can work the weekend, hence waking up far too early this morning.
Watched comic relief on friday. Now due to my nigerian neighbour who I hate more than anyone in england, I thought I would never go out my way to donate money to africa. However David Tennent telling me off was more than I could bare. I love Dr Who far too much for that. So we made the call. £10 well spend to feel smug all week.

Spent a nice sunday afternoon after work with terri. We went for a walk round this town. Not had a decent explore since moving in a year and half ago.
Saturday afternoon as well was quiet good. Went to a near by pub to check it out, invited a few mates down. They weren't there long, but was still good afternoon.

Now I'm back to usual shifts. Spent too much over weekend as usual so living cheap. It's me and my girls 1 year anniversary this sat. I need to shift swap with someone for it off. The one weekend I'm actually registered to work and I need it off. Typical.

Anyway I've left the misses watching Dr Who alone to write this, better get back. Laters

Politics, philosophy and economics

I've pissed my girlfriend off somewhat, made a little comment about the way she was talking. Thought she would be used to me calling her common by now.. It's probably a little harsh but I really get annoyed when the girl I love proves herself to be white trash. Elitist? Maybe. But she seems to be over it for the moment.

I had a good weekend shift at work, as usual we did very little work. Also had a good crowd of people working with me. Had some good long discussions of my political and ethical views.
I told them of my old political party I started in college. The policies have changed a fair bit. I'm not a hippy like I used to be. My views can be akin to that of an anti racist nazi. Sounds bad, and it is. But I would like to clarify that I agree with nothing Hitler did. I think we need to work hard to making a genetically superior human race. And a superior human is intelligent. That is the only real requirement for my uber mankind. If we can stop the ridiculously stupid people breeding then the human race might prosper.
I would like to see the future where everyone is a scientist or scholar, the menial tasks and production of food will be taken care of by robots (obviously I'm on about more than a couple of years time). However a little bit sooner if we can encourage growth of intellect and sterilise the dumb. I'll go into my limits for what a dumb person is some time later. I think I've ranted on long enough about this now.

In other life areas, my money is getting better. I might not even go into overdraft this week! So can start saving soon for house and holiday.
Discussed today my progression at work, it's a slow process, but I told them I really want to be moving up. Requested any training I can get. Determined to get some where in this company before moving on.

Anyway, think my silence is annoying my girl. Laters.

Slob

It's been another pretty inactive week. But I feel more accomplished than last week. I didn't play minecraft for the entire time.
My house mate Richard has been skiving work again, not happy with him at all. But now we're basically looking for alternatives to move out with. If he's always guna be this unreliable then we can't trust moving in with him, as he's likely to get fired.
Spent some serious time on Fable 3. Which I do consider a day well spent.
I was looking up how to create a mobile signal jammer, but being that they are illegal it proved quiet hard to find a walk through for it. If anyone has any links then please submit them.
I would like to be able to create amazing electronic items, but have to concede that my knowledge in that area is lacking some what.
I really wish I could do school again, but maybe in a private school or university. If I had the motivation and patients and maybe time I could self teach myself these things. Might still have a go. It'll be stacked on my desk under my 'hacking for dummies' book. If your noticing my illegal trends of hobbies it's purely for learning and 'in case' purposes. What if one day James Cameron's Terminator future does come true, good skills to know I figured.

Going to this rock gig of my cousins band tonight. New Social scene here I come. Not that I would like to hang out with mosher types. Not to offend but I've been one a few years back and I can't stand the lot of 'em.
They just annoy me how they switch opinions of bands based on how popular they become and if the common view amongst their type changes to dislike a band. Then they call them selves non conformist. Dick heads. Rant over.

Anyway I'm working the weekend shift again and the weekend after too. Practically like having 4 days off. Also just thought, I have booked off 3 days between bank holiday and royal wedding, which gives me 11 days off in a row. Must think of something productive to do with this time.

Wednesday night I watched the football for the first time in my own house. Too poor for the pub. Saw a goal-less game which we won by aggregate. Tottenham if you haven't guessed.
While eating pancakes. Win.
Anyway, I'll return soon. Laters.

Weekend shift

Sorry about lack of post, I've just been busy.
I suppose I should start with wednesday. Usual day of work, except that I turned up an hour and 20 minutes late. But I still got out on time to meet a few work mates for a cinema outing. We all missed the first showing, so waiting for the next one at the adjacent bar. A few pints and pool games later we left for the film.
After some frustration with one of our friends phone battery dying, leaving us one buy one get one free code short, we enter to watch 'Paul'. The latest film by the Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. I thought it was excellent. I had my doubts about the concept of a cartoon alien, but it turned out to be incredafunny.

I am working the weekend shift and therefore I get thursday and friday off instead. I like to be productive with me days off, unfortunately I got distracted by a brilliant but at the same time terrible computer game of 'Minecraft'. Possibly the nerdiest thing I could do with my game.
Check it out on youtube. You can play a crappy free version on the website, but it's not a good comparison to the full version.
It's got basic graphics, all based on digging through ans putting up blocks. there is monsters but I've got them turned off. As a child I loved base building and that is essentially what it is for me.
However I woke early to make the most of my day and the ruined that with building a pantheon out of diamond.
I promised myself that I would not play it on the second day off but one again I wasted my day. This is almost definitely the reason why I'm still a no body. The lack of motivation.
At least in the afternoon when my girl had gotten out of her training course I got to head down the pub.
Had a few pints and a pub dinner. They got the order wrong at first but changed it with no arguments. We personally thanked the guy who gave such good service, and as it turned out he was a manager who was starting at that pub shortly, so he really appreciated the feed back. It feels good when you've made someone's day. I always preferred to give presents than receive them. (This is not a metaphor)

Saturday arrives and I'm back to work. I say work but really the weekend shift is such a doss that it barely feels like work. Admittedly this saturday was busier than usual but still nothing compared to any weekday. We ordered pizza and just chilled. Me and my friend Pete have a thing about doing weekend shifts. We've even booked our selves in for one next weekend.

The day went by quickly enough. My girl spend the day at home writing a book. Which I pitched ideas for. It's actually shaping up to be an interesting read. An exciting tragic romance novel. I really think she could be onto something with this. I would love to see her become a famed author. Not just for the obvious money benefits. But too see her be great at something. I would cheekily ride the fame wave to my own greatness.
For a similar reason I bought a lotto ticket that night. Haven't checked it yet.

When I got home from work I cooked her pizza, which I obviously had no interest in having had a large one at lunch. (Suits you sir). So I cooked up some baby corn and maungetoute, how very middle-class. I enjoyed the feeling that I was being healthy and it also was a good meal.
I had also bought bananas and melon from the shops, I'm really trying this healthy thing now.

Now it's sunday morning, I'm up far earlier than I need be for work but I guess I don't require more sleep, so I think I'll play some xbox. Later.

Moving up at work

Well this must be good. Getting a little bit of training at work. It's not exactly a promotion, but it's a start up that ladder. Not to bore with IT stuff but I'm getting additional privileges on the network. At last recognition for my efforts. Not to boast but I am very good at my job.
Best thing about this training is I don't have to take calls for a while. But I am getting quite bored, not much to learn and most of it is waiting around for one of the telephone monkeys to call us. (Yes i will now be looking down on my colleagues)
I am of course joking...

Ended up at the supermarket again today. Been trying to save cash by not going in everyday. But I didn't buy much. However I now only have £5 in my bank.
Fortunately I'm paid weekly so only a couple of days till next small pay check. I will once again be giving my girlfriend money to pay her bills. I really am quite sick of how bad she is at controlling money. I can't blame her for not earning as it was I who advised her to leave her job. But when the bill is £45 to her bank for going into over draft a couple of times.... Anyway I do need to stop stressing over money. It'll just make me drive away or throw out my girl. And I'm quite aware that I may not be as happy as I am now (or here at all) if it hadn't been for her. We met when we were both emotional wrecks of people.
So I love her almost unconditionally for staying by my side while I drove others away from me with my breakdowns. She even accepts the slight schizophrenic blackouts I used to have. (Just to give proof to all those who don't think cannabis doesn't have a bad side)
Speaking of which. I haven't smoked since last stated, which was only a few days ago, but I'm not tempted either.

This evening I did manage to have another argument with my girl about nothing. This time it was my annoyance at her childlike objection to vegetables. We clashed about cauliflower. But she agreed to be more open minded with food and ended up quite liking the stew-ish and chicken meal I cooked.
As I'm trying to cook fresh foods at the moment her unwillingness to eat many vegetables is an issue.
I think this would be a good point to point out that by chicken I mean Quarn Chicken style fillets. I am in fact a scummy vegetarian (or this is what my friends call me). I'm not an annoying preachy vegi. They piss me off more than they piss off meat eaters.
I don't eat meat as a personal choice. It's not an animal rights thing, it's more putting corpses in my mouth. Or that's why I am still a vegi. I'm not stupid, if it was starve or eat meat I'd be butchering kittens for food. I've been vegi since aged 5. I'll explain why later.

Now I'm just guna watch Dr Who with my girl, eat some strawberrys and yogurt, then sleep. Later.
